Congratulations on your admission to Cleveland State! You are almost ready to start your first semester here, but first, you need to complete a VIC Check-in request on the CISP Portal, a VIC Check-In Session, as well as attend the Center for International Services and Program's (CISP)  New International Student Orientation. It is mandatory that all new F-1 students:

View instructions for uploading your documents and changing your address here: https://www.csuohio.edu/international/videos

Please note: there will be $100 matriculation fee assessed to all new international students' CampusNet accounts.

As an F-1 international student, you have an obligation to comply with the immigration laws and regulations of the United States. It is illegal to violate U.S. federal immigration laws and regulations for any reason. As a student in F-1 status, you are responsible for learning, understanding, and complying with the U.S. laws and regulations that apply to you. Your failure to be aware of and comply with these requirements could jeopardize your academic plans. By completing the VIC request on the CISP Portal, attending the VIC session and attending Orientation you will get to know most important immigration laws and regulations that you should comply with throughout your study in the US.

Once these documents are reviewed and approved, your INR course registration hold will be removed from your student account.

Important:  Students MUST update their Personal Profile record in CampusNet to reflect their local U.S. address as soon as they have arrived in Cleveland. Keeping a current and valid local address on file with the University is an important component to maintaining F-1 status.
