I work with adult learners and students transferring from all over the country!  

What's your favorite spot on the CSU campus and why?
My favorite spot is the lawn between the student center and the library. It’s got plenty of tables and it gets a lot of sun so it’s a great place to read or enjoy a meal.

As a student, what did you appreciate most about your CSU experience?

As a student, I most appreciated the connections I made. Whether it was the friends in my program, the advisors, or the professors, everyone seemed to be so invested in my success, and it really helped me thrive as a person.

If you had your own Magnus outfit, where would you wear it?
I’d probably wear it to a Guardians' game so I could goof off with Slider and take photos with any alums at the game!

What advice do you have for students who are choosing a college?
Choose a college where you feel welcomed and seen, not just as a student but as a person. Visit campus, talk to current students, and picture yourself there... does it feel like a place you can see yourself living and thriving for the next 2-4 years? 

What's your favorite CSU fun fact?
As an avid birder- my favorite CSU fun fact is that campus has a few bird-friendly buildings, meaning they have specially designed glass that aims to prevent birds from colliding with the buildings. Collisions with buildings are a leading cause of bird fatalities in North America, so it’s nice that CSU is taking preventative measures against that!
