The Beth E. Mooney Center for Transformational Leadership

The Beth E. Mooney Center for Transformative Leadership is a University-wide center devoted to developing CSU’s community of students and lifelong learners into leaders who transform the economic, civic and cultural life of Northeast Ohio.

Our Values

We define transformative leaders as those who:

  • Collaboration: Prioritize cross-sector collaboration to achieve positive change
  • Impact: Uphold innovation as key to community vitality and economic vibrancy
  • Innovation: Harness advanced technologies to improve quality of life
  • Inquiry: Interrogate and seek to disrupt that which is taken for granted
  • Inclusion: Adapt deftly in the face of volatility and an ever-evolving global environment
  • Equity: Are committed to equitable outcomes and a just world

Our Approach

We support CSU in developing transformative leaders through its core curriculum; courses, certificates and degrees; experiential learning opportunities; customized continuing education; and research and scholarship.
