Master Shell

**NOTICE: YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN TO SUBMIT THIS FORM**

A Master Shell is a course environment an instructor uses to develop and maintain course materials that are used from semester to semester. It is not tied to CampusNet. Therefore, no students or other users are enrolled into this shell. This shell can be used as a "master" where one keeps permanent changes to a course. Faculty may copy content from a Master Shell into an upcoming or active Blackboard course as long as they are enrolled as a course designer or instructor in both shells.

Master Shells have a defined lifespan (1-2 years). If you wish to keep it longer, please email elearning@csuohio.edu prior to the course being removed from Blackboard.
