Using Turnitin With Blackboard

Turnitin is now integrated with Blackboard! Learn how to set up Turnitin assignments in Blackboard and how to give students feedback on assignments. See how the integration with Blackboard allows instructors to have one gradebook in Blackboard that contains all Turnitin feedback and scores. Whether or not you have used Turnitin in the past, you should attend this session if you are interested in learning more about this powerful tool.

Turnitin is a comprehensive, cloud-based solution that helps students learn by providing personalized feedback. Turnitin includes three main features:

1. Ensures originality

Checks students' work for potential plagiarism by comparing it against the world's largest comparison database.

2. Smarter grading

Gives students, legible, timely feedback while saving instructors grading time.

3. Streamlines peer reviews

Encourages students to learn from each other and develop critical thinking skills

Using Turnitin with Blackboard will be presented by Caryn Lanzo, Director of the Center for eLearning at CSU. Mary McDonald, Director of the Writing Center, will also be on hand to discuss features of Turnitin.
