Dr. Katrina Ponti will explore how the study of history can move beyond the archives and into the realm of applied practice. Her talk will investigate how historical methods and perspectives contribute to professional military education by shaping strategic thinking, leaderdership and decision-making. She invites students to discuss the challenges and opportunities of connecting scholarship to practice, and to reflect on how historians can prepare to engage audiences outside the academy while maintaining intellectual rigor.
